Lesson four learning points

For lesson four, I have learnt more about CSS or Cascading Style Sheet. It helps to edit your webpage to a format and design that you want, like colouring the texts and changing the whole layout of the webpage, including changing the family of the text and its size. I learnt how to link the style sheet to the webpage by adding a link to the source file. I also found out many interesting things like how you can position the text anywhere you want and everything is at your control. Changing the entire webpage is just a few minutes of typing away...

Lesson three learning points

For lesson three, I have learnt how to create a webpage on my own and how to add images, links, etc. to the webpage and I also learnt many other useful things. I have learnt about the source page and how it is essential to making the webpage and more about the Notepad application. I also know about the content of the webpage and it must contain a html, head, title,/title,/head, body,/body,/html. I have found out more about the Web 2.0 technology and about absolute URLs (Uniform Resource Locater ). I also learnt about functions like bolding the text, making paragraphs and adding lines.
Lastly, I learnt how to wrap it all up and create a HTML webpage.

Lesson two learning points

For lesson two, I have learnt about the advantages and disadvantages of blogs and websites. I learnt that blogs and websites both require a lot of time and effort in order to make it very appealing to others and attract them to visit it more often.
I also learnt how useful the forum can be because it can help netizens to communicate with each other and discuss their point of views. This enables them to discuss on the topic more conveniently.

Lesson one learning points

For lesson one of my IS lesson, I have learnt how technology has developed and how much it is now used worldwide. I have learnt more about computer skills and more about the functions for IT. I have a clear understanding about the World Wide Web and many useful information on it. Now, I have also learnt how to create a blog and design it to my liking. The Internet is indeed a way of communication for everyone and is a useful tool in our daily lives.

My experience so far

Since I was very little, about Primary 1, I have already begun to use computers. Now, computers are considered an absolute necessity to me as it has many functions and they make our lives more convenient. I have been using the computer just to play online games and watch movies. Now, it is essential to my work as there is the World Wide Web that can give me information for my research and other useful things. I have learnt how to use the computer to do many things, from creating programs from Dev C++ , to combining sound tracks of different types to form a new music. Like now, I have also learnt how to create blogs and how to use them. Although my IT skills are not perfect, I still think that I can do a lot of things on the computer. This is what I have to say so far.
